Bethany Beach town officials recently announced the "official
launch" of their new web site, http://www.townofbethanybeach.com/
hoping to provide assistance to residents and visitors quickly and
easily.
John "Jack" Walsh, Bethany council member, said the
communications committee would like some net surfers to try it out
and offer any ideas they may have to improve the site.
Walsh said the site has more than 18 content areas to choose from
and virtually all current town information is now online. Site
visitors will find town government documents including council
meetings and agendas, three events calendars and a searchable
business database of licensed town businesses. He said there is even
a section with F.A.Q.s--Frequently Asked Questions.
"The self-editing and back-end database features save the [town]
staff time and money," he said. It saves money because the system
does not require outside help to update information or long training
courses for town employees, Walsh added.
So take a peek, find out what is going on in the Town of Bethany
